For our project, we conducted our own Internet Inquiry project, blogged about it, and wrote a final paper. Our project was situated in a theoretical unit using The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon as a core text. We came up with our own research question - "How can we (as high school students) involve autistic classmates into classroom activities?" We then conducted the research as if we were high school students. Our final paper is written as educators, not students, to provide a resource for other teachers who are thinking of using this instructional model.
